Well, there goes Google+. @keithhannon finally got his wish. It was better there…mostly because most people were on another thing. It would have been interesting to see how the G+ features would have held up under critical mass. Oh well. We should all have our own social spaces that we control anyway.
I would be remiss if I didn’t point you to Killed By Google to take a gander at alllll the things that have met untimely ends. Though, to be fair, many of those products/projects were rolled into things that still exist.

Day 7 in response to @Alice Hannon and the #challengeonnaturephotography
It’s been a long time coming but I finally found Day 7. It nicely fits with Day 1 as it’s right outside the front door.
My new nominee to take up the challenge is @Keith Hannon Your assignment, should you choose to accept it, is to post 1 nature photo every day for 7 days, and with each post name another photographer to take up the challenge.
Google’s Go playing AI has gotten very strong. Looking forward to it’s match against Lee Sedol in March.
