Vaughn is drinking a Liquid Candy by Tarantula Hill Brewing Co (Untappd)

Vaughn checked-in on Untappd

I am drinking Liquid Candy by Tarantula Hill Brewing Co at Sancho’s Tacos in Oceanside.

Name: Liquid Candy
Brewery: Tarantula Hill Brewing Co
Style: IPA – New England / Hazy
Alcohol by volume (ABV): 7.5%
IBU: 40
Brewer’s Notes: Our Hopped Up, Smooth & Pillowy Hazy IPA stacked with Citra and Motueka Hops. Done our way with proper brewing techniques adhered to. A Bright Orange Juicy looking Hazy that’s not muddy, murky, chunky or unfinished. Using Imperial Juice yeast and plentiful amounts of rolled oats and flaked wheat this brew has a very soft mouthfeel, gorgeous homogeneous haziness and some killer artwork from RISK on the cans. No corner cutting here, like all of our IPAs this beer is never rushed and takes almost 3 weeks to complete.

Vaughn is drinking a Tropical Terps by Belching Beaver Brewery (Untappd)

Vaughn checked-in on Untappd

I am drinking Tropical Terps by Belching Beaver Brewery at Belching Beaver Brewery and Tasting Room in Oceanside.

Name: Tropical Terps
Brewery: Belching Beaver Brewery
Style: IPA – New England / Hazy
Alcohol by volume (ABV): 6.6%
IBU: 0
Brewer’s Notes: Troy has not brewed in a long time, and I was giving him a hard time about coming up with something unique. Maybe, just maybe, he lost his talent. To prove me wrong he jumped on his little 3 BBL system and came up with Terps. What the heck are terps, you ask? Terps are aromatic molecules that enhance and complement the hop flavor and aromas used in this beer. This new style IPA has a unique, fruity and tropical flavor profile. When we tried it, we thought, “Wow, this needs to be a core style!”
Cheers,
Tom
