Really great reminder from the EFF about protecting yourself in the Fediverse (and on the internet in general). Remember, Mastodon (and many other ActivityPub based services) are a public square and should be treated as such! https://www.eff.org/deeplinks/2023/07/fbi-seizure-mastodon-server-wakeup-call-fediverse-users-and-hosts-protect-their

I am drinking Black House by Modern Times Beer at Barbara’s at the Brewery in Los Angeles.

Name: Black House
Brewery: Modern Times Beer
Style: Stout – Coffee
Alcohol by volume (ABV): 5.8%
IBU: 40
Brewer’s Notes: It’s so great that you like coffee. I just love that about you. Speaking of which, you’re holding an oatmeal coffee stout positively redolent with coffee aroma and flavor. It’s not acrid. It’s not astringent. It doesn’t taste like that brown puddle at the bottom of the office carafe at 4pm. It kind of tastes like chocolate covered espresso beans, only drier and more like beer. It’s the full-blown coffee beer experience in a sessionable-ish package.

I am drinking Relax [it’s just a hazy IPA] by Offshoot Beer Co. at Barbara’s at the Brewery in Los Angeles.

Name: Relax [it’s just a hazy IPA]
Brewery: Offshoot Beer Co.
Style: IPA – New England / Hazy
Alcohol by volume (ABV): 6.8%
IBU: 0
Brewer’s Notes: Relax [it’s just a hazy IPA] embraces the new way to enjoy IPA – unfiltered, fresh and full of hop flavor and aromatics… without the bitterness to stand in the way of kicking back with a juicy beer. It features a combination of Citra, Centennial, Simcoe and Amarillo hops, imparting fruity, tropical and citrusy notes to complement the round, soft mouthfeel of a hazy IPA.
